Uber Eats Courier UK – Pay, Requirements & Guide 2026

Uber Eats operates across the UK with a distance-based pay model and surge pricing. Riders earn £3.00–£5.50 per delivery at base rates, rising significantly during Boost and Surge periods. Instant Pay lets you cash out earnings at any time.

Pay & Boost Zones

Uber Eats pays a base rate plus a per-mile element. Boost multipliers (e.g. 1.25×) and Surge add-ons during peak hours push effective per-delivery to £5–8. Hourly gross during a busy London Boost-zone shift can reach £16–18.

Requirements

You must be 18+, have the right to work in the UK, own a smartphone and insulated bag, and pass identity checks. Moped/car riders must hold hire-and-reward insurance. Fully flexible — no slot booking required.
