Amazon Flex UK – Driver Guide

Amazon Flex lets you deliver Amazon parcels in your own vehicle during flexible 2–4 hour blocks. Pay ranges from £14 to £18 per hour with surge pricing available during peak periods. You pick up pre-sorted parcels from a delivery station and follow a pre-planned route via the Flex app.

Pay & Earnings

Block pay is fixed at £14–18/hr for the duration of the block. If you finish early, you still receive the full block payment. Surge pricing during busy periods or unclaimed blocks can push rates higher. Weekly pay via bank transfer.

Requirements

You must be 18+, have a UK driving licence, own a suitable vehicle (medium car or small van for most blocks), and hold hire-and-reward insurance. A background check is conducted during onboarding. No van provided — you use your own vehicle.

Pros & Cons

Pros: Guaranteed block pay, full schedule flexibility, no fixed commitments, simple app-based workflow. Cons: Blocks are competitive in popular areas, unpaid depot travel time, vehicle depreciation and fuel are your cost, deactivation risk for performance issues.
